Jakarta – The Notary Study Program of the Faculty of Law, Pancasila University (FHUP), held a Technical Training on Writing and Publicating Scientific Papers as an effort to improve the academic capacity and quality of scientific publications of its academic community. The training took place on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the Plato Room, and was attended by all Notary Study Program students from various classes.This training aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of scientific writing techniques in accordance with academic principles, from the structure of scientific articles and the use of appropriate research methods to writing ethics and citations. Participants were also equipped with knowledge of scientific publication strategies.
The Head of the Notary Study Program at the Faculty of Law and Public Relations (FHUP), Dr. Tetti Samosir, S.H., M.H., stated in her remarks that the ability to write and publish scientific papers is a crucial competency for academics and prospective notary practitioners. “Through this training, we hope students can produce quality scientific papers and contribute to the development of science, particularly in the field of notary law,” she said.
This training activity presents experienced speakers in the field of scientific writing and publication, who present the material theoretically and practically, namely the Head of UPPM FHUP Dr. Rocky Marbun, S.H., M.H. and Endra Wijaya, S.H., M.H. Participants also get the opportunity to have direct discussions, do writing practice, and get tips and tricks so that scientific articles can be accepted in the target journal.
With this training, the Notary Study Program of the Faculty of Law, Pancasila University, affirms its commitment to supporting the development of a culture of research and scientific publication. It is hoped that similar activities will continue to be held on an ongoing basis to boost the productivity and quality of scientific work by the FHUP academic community.
