SUMEDANG – The Master of Notarial Law (M.Kn) and Doctoral (S3) Program in Law at Universitas Pancasila successfully conducted a Community Service (PKM) activity in Sukajaya Village, Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Carrying the theme “Legal Outreach for Sukajaya Village: Education, Awareness, Solutions, and Legal Resolution for the Community”, this activity represents a tangible commitment by the Universitas Pancasila academic community to upholding the Three Pillars of Higher Education (*Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi*). Attendees included the Rector of Universitas Pancasila, Prof. Dr. Adnan Hamid, S.H., M.H., M.M., the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Lisda Syamsumardian, S.H., M.H., the Director of Cooperation, Gunawan Baharuddin, S.E., M.Ec., Ph.D., and the Head of Research and Community Service at the Faculty of Law, Dr. Rocky Marbun, S.H., M.H.
This event featured a number of experts and academic speakers, including Prof. Dr. I Ketut Oka Setiawan, S.H., M.H., Sp.N., Prof. Dr. Agus Surono, S.H., M.H., Dr. Tetti Samosir, S.H., M.H., Dr. Fx. Arsin Lukman, S.H., Dr. Zaitun Abdullah, S.H., M.H. and Dr. Maslihati Nur Hidayati, S.H., M.H. Also participating were representatives from the Sumedang Regency Land Office—Tonni Seto Soekemi, S.Kom., M.A.P., QRMP—along with Puguh Triwibowo, S.T., S.H., M.H. (Master’s student in Notarial Law) and Ir. Rahmat, A.Ptnh., M.M., QRMO., QCRO., CODP., C.Med. (Doctoral student in Law), as well as Law Doctoral program alumna Dr. Nina Silvana, S.H., M.H.
During the outreach session, the community service team presented key material focusing on the legality of land ownership, the steps involved in drafting legal deeds, electronic land certificates (e-certificates), and dispute resolution, as well as the dangers of narcotics and the wise use of gadgets for teenagers. Community enthusiasm was evident through the active participation in the Q&A session and free legal consultations with the experts and students from Universitas Pancasila’s Notarial Law (Master’s) and Law (Doctoral) programs.
The series of events continued with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) involving multiple levels—ranging from the university, the Faculty of Law, and the Master’s program in Notarial Law and Doctoral program in Law to the Sukajaya Village Government and the Sumedang Regency Government. This partnership establishes a strategic foundation for future sustainable collaboration in education, research, legal assistance, and village development programs.
Beyond providing legal education, the event incorporated a social outreach initiative involving the distribution of basic food packages to the residents of Sukajaya Village. Representatives from the Master of Notarial Law program personally handed over the packages, fostering a spirit of empathy and strengthening the bond between the students and the local community.
Sukajaya Village Head Sukana, S.M., M.M., and his staff warmly welcomed the entire event. He commended Universitas Pancasila for its participation, noting that the university not only equipped residents with legal knowledge but also demonstrated tangible social concern on the ground.
Through this event held on June 30, 2026, Universitas Pancasila reaffirmed its commitment to delivering legal knowledge that is not only academically excellent but also yields real benefits for the community.
