MKN UP, Jakarta – Pancasila University and the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (DPRKP) DKI Jakarta Province signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding cooperation in the Study of the Development of Public Housing and Settlement Areas, especially research and studies regarding Building Ownership Certificates (SKBG).
) in the construction of an apartment area in the Daan Mogot Km 18 West Jakarta area.
The signing of the MoU was carried out at the Faculty of Law Building, Aristotle Room, on Wednesday (12/04/2023). Dean of the Faculty of Law, Pancasila University Prof. Dr. Eddy Pratomo, S.H., M.A and Head of Housing Financing and Partnership Division, Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Meli Budiastuti, S.E carried out the signing.
Dean of FH UP Eddy Pratomo in his speech said, “On behalf of the Faculty of Law, I would like to welcome and thank you for this trust from the DPRKP, it is extraordinary, we have established a concrete collaboration within the framework of research and community service aimed at how to help the DPRKP to discuss “A very important issue is about flats in the DKI Jakarta area.”
Furthermore, the Dean of FH Pancasila University said regarding plans for collaboration with Pancasila University through the Faculty of Law with further study and research by the Master of Notary Study Program. “A flat area will be built in the Daan Mogot KM 18 area, which will involve a legal aspect, namely what is called a Building Ownership Certificate (SKBG).”
In a little more detail, Dean Eddy Pratomo explained about the SKBG which has never been published until now. “Who published this? Is it the DPRKP or another related agency, certainly not the National Land Agency (BPN) because this was built on DKI Jakarta Provincial Government land, how do you get rights to this flat? Because there are many legal aspects in it, economic aspects and technical aspects, we invite team friends from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Economics to help carry out research and studies on these aspects so that we can provide comprehensive input to the DPRKP about how good this SKBG is.”
Meanwhile, the Head of the Housing Financing and Partnership Division, Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Meli Budiastuti, S.E, who represented the Acting Head of the Department of Public Housing and Settlement Areas of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, Retno Sulistyaningrum, MAP, when reading her speech, said, “Several years “recently DKI Jakarta, especially the PRKP Department, has learned many things in the process of providing housing and improving the quality of settlements. Jakarta as a city of collaboration cannot be separated from the contribution of academics from various universities.”
According to Meli Budiastuti, various study activities, FGD public discussions, research and many other things have contributed to the role of academics in developing DKI Jakarta. “We realize that Housing Department programs such as flat design, flat villages, vertical land consolidation studies, housing facilitation and other programs cannot be separated from the consultation of academics.”
The existence of reliable academics in DKI Jakarta is a benchmark for higher education in Indonesia, “Not only that, there are students who actively participate in various activities and also help various programs in DKI Jakarta.”
